Ted Crago, B.Eng., CFP Financial Planner, PartnerEducation Ted graduated from Trenton High School with honours in 1977. While achieving a Mining Technology Diploma at the Haileybury School of Mines (1981), Ted earned five scholarships that enabled him to continue his education at the university level. A degree for the Bachelor of Engineering in Mining was completed 1985 at the Technical University of Nova Scotia. Additional courses in money management, investment and financial planning led to Ted joining our team in 1993. In the following years, the Life Underwriters Association Training Course (LUATC) has been completed with high marks up to Ted's standards. After years of study, Ted achieved the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) professional designation in 2002.

Career A service that adds value to a client's life is doubly rewarding to the financial planner, who gets the added satisfaction of having assisted them towards goals they perceived as either difficult or impossible. Ted manages almost $12 million for about 220 clients. He was the recipient of the Money Concepts Canada coveted "Client Builder Award" in 1995 and the “President’s Club Award” in 1997. In 2002, after years of study, Ted received his professional Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Ted's approach with his clients is the development of realistic and efficient investment strategies to address short term and long term goals. Community and Personal Ted's family is from the Quinte area where Ted's ancestors have lived for over 250 years and many of them still reside in the surrounding area. He is an active member of the CFB Trenton Golf Club and is an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 110 in Trenton. Ted has assisted with fund raising for the Canadian Cancer Society and Camp Trillium. A fastball pitcher since he was 13, Ted finally retired his cleats in 2001. His other interests include skiing, personal investing, bowling, reading and crashing his computer.
