Education Neil Denison graduated from Napanee District Secondary School in 1962, and continued developing the family business, Denridge Farms, for the balance of 30 years. Always interested in learning, Neil continued his studies at St. Lawrence College, in Kingston, Ontario, graduating with a Certificate in Accounting in 1995. Neil acquired additional knowledge when he received his Certificate of Completion for Income Tax, from H&R Block, in 1999. Neil is licensed for mutual funds and life insurance products and is currently studying for his level II life insurance.

Career Prior to 1998, Neil operated the family dairy farm and maintained a registered Holstein herd with the prefix “Denridge Holsteins.” These Denridge Holsteins were greatly valued for their production, quality and type. Farmers worldwide purchased them, including farmers in England, Mexico, Spain, Cuba and the United States.

Neil’s three daughters pursued careers other than dairy farming. With no family members to carry on the farming operation, Neil sold the business in 1996. After careful consideration, Neil began his financial planning career in the Fall of 1997, with his mutual funds license through the Money Concepts (Napanee) office. Neil also became licensed for life insurance, disability insurance and critical illness. As of March 1, 2004, Neil expanded his resources by setting up his own practice “Neil Denison Financial”. He is now affiliated with the Partners in Planning (Belleville) office. This office is one of the offices specializing in Estate Planning. Achievements Neil received the coveted “Rising Star of the Year Award” for the best sales in his rookie year with Money Concepts in 1999. To honour his family business and promote continuing education, Neil has set up The Denridge Foundation to award bursaries to students in Arts as well as Mathematics. Personal Neil was born in Napanee and has lived in this area all of his life. Neil enjoys art galleries, watercolour painting, antique shops and travel. He also enjoys baseball, hockey, football, golf and nature walks. He has maintained his ties with farming and hobby farms in beef cattle. Neil and his three daughters, Angela, a teacher in Belleville, Kimberly, a wine expert at the LCBO in Ottawa and Courtney, who continues to pursue her studies in youth social programs, all maintain close ties with the Napanee community.
